Can what's forgotten be forgiven?
Haunted by visions and memories, Landon seeks answers.
He's identified the man in his nightmares. An exorcist in Rome.
He's the only one who might know the truth...
There's an encroaching darkness, an impeding war between angels and demons...
A lot of people will die if Landon doesn't remember a secret he's forgotten.
Is this Landon's chance to reconcile with his past? To atone for his former evil?
Will he achieve the redemption he seeks?
Or will recovering those lost memories turn him back into the demon he used to be?
Sometimes the greatest evil we must face is the one that resides within.
Broken Wings is the second book in The Unfallen: a fast-paced, action-packed Christian suspense series. Fans of novels by Frank Peretti, like This Present Darkness, or fans of Terry Pratchett's and Neil Gaiman's Good Omens, will fall in love with Landon Walker. An on-the-edge-of-your-seat redemption story.

This book brought to mind the book by Dan Brown called Angels and Demons, maybe because this time around Landon is facing the war between the dark and the light, between angels and demons in the vatican city itself where he and Sarah go to seek out an exorcist. Landon had lost all his memories, his past had been wiped out, so he goes in search of answers, looking for a priest he once knew. Some memories or flashes of his past are resurfacing and he remembers a particular priest, but dreads what he may find out. Once in Rome all hell is let loose literally, he and Sarah face great dangers and Landon does not know who he is sharing his body with, or who of the two factions of priests he can trust if either! His main preoccupation is keeping Sarah safe, but she is adamant to do what is right and save the rest of the world from the evil endangering everyone. Sarah believes they were sent there for a purpose and she wants to see their mission through! Faith is all they have, and it is what gives them strength to face the evil being unleashed. This is the 2nd book in the christian supernatural thriller which kept me turning the pages as the excitement levels and suspense really revved up and now with such a cliffhanger ending I cannot wait to read book 3!
