No books were delivered. Package received was empty. I am unable to review the books because I didn’t receive them. I sent an email outlining what transpired, and included photos of the open, empty box. One photo was of a label affixed to the box that stated “Your package was received without contents. Please accept our apologies.” I have not yet received a response.
My husband saw me reading for 3 days nonstop, was intrigued as what had captured my interest...
It's been a while since I have read such wonderful thriller books without the craziness of language or suggested inappropriate scenes. I truly loved these books to the extent I finished 1 book a day except the last one - Sanctum. I finished it the next day. They were amazingly written and I loved how scripture was brought into the "life style" of David Shepherd. Of course he was a minister in the book, but how he portrayed it all in his daily life. Plus - I loved how the character's name was David Shepherd - great choice!
I am an avid reader but this is the first time I have come across this author, I'm halfway through the first book Slinshot and so far it has not dissapointed, it is very difficult to put down I will be recommending this trilogy to my fellowship, especially the young people. Looking forward to reading Dead State and Sanctum.
The subject material is great, with an interesting story line. However the use of AI only detracts from what's, otherwise, a great read. In Book 1 I came across 4 places where an individual sentence that made no sense was inserted into a paragraph. In one instance, the gender of the character changed mid-paragraph & then back again in the next sentence. A human proof reader would have picked up any / all of these glaring mistakes. I came away disappointed that someone of the author's qualifications wasn't able to simply rely on his God-given abilities to craft a great story without resorting to AI.
It was not written with AI. I'm aware of the pronoun issue with the character, which was an oops on my part as I was writing it, given the character was dealing with gender dysphoria. As an independent author, I rely on volunteers to proofread the books. I'm not sure what the nonsensical sentences were, but that's not usually what AI does. I have made some minor changes to the books, which might not have been live yet at the time you ordered. So, my apologies for that.
