A catastrophic plane crash. A miraculous survival.
Landon is hailed a hero, the man who defied impossible odds.
But the spotlight's glare reveals a darker truth.
When he defends the possessed flight attendant, accusations fly: murderer, manipulator, a pawn in a sinister game.
The allure of fame twists into a demonic snare, and the very system meant to uphold justice becomes his battleground.
Can Landon fight the forces that seek to destroy him, when the world itself has turned against him?
Mortal Coil is the third book in The Unfallen: a fast-paced, action-packed Christian suspense series. Fans of novels by Frank Peretti, like This Present Darkness, or fans of Terry Pratchett's and Neil Gaiman's Good Omens, will fall in love with Landon Walker. An on-the-edge-of-your-seat redemption story.

I’m a huge fan of Frank Peretti and this series reminded me of his works. The writing was engaging and intelligent, concise but descriptive. The story itself was very good, a little confusing if you’re looking for biblical absolutes (though the author did explain all his literary indulgences at the end) I liked how the characters were relatable, and though the main character was endowed with supernatural powers, it was always a reference of Gods power working through him, and on HIS timeframe, the description of the power wielded by prayer warriors was excellent as well. I am excited to read the next book in the series.
