The story is OK. I do enjoy spiritual messages throughout. The narrator os unfortunate. It's very hard to listen to. The longer series has a great narrator. Should have gone with that same guy.
I like the story line and enjoy hearing Biblical truths through out the book. Only problem I have is the reader sounds like he is reading instead of being the character. Also the reality of someone running for office and being very vocal/preachy at his rallies seems unbelievable. I plan on listening to the other books.
Sometimes the voice was off, sounded like a robot spoke too slow . Other than that I enjoyed the books
I am into the second book and have found this amazing. I love the story and wish it could be real in our day. David seems to be the Charlie Kirk that is needed today. The voice is clear and interesting.
Maybe if I read this series it would be better. Very dissatisfied in the audible versikn. Did not even finish the Slingshot. The reading was fragmented and the voice not interesting at all. Would love a refund but don’t know if those are given.
