Landon Walker is grieving the death of Zacharias, his friend, mentor and spiritual advisor, and in his grief he feels empty, and bereft. He is filling his mentor's place both in the library, and his office, sitting in his chair, smelling his coffee. But someone else has been brought in to replace Zacharias in his role as advisor in the Truth Seekers, which he had started, a place where students were all welcomed no matter their faith to openly discuss without judgement. The students take to this way of teaching, and become lost in the quiet, they hear the voice of Zacharias, and little realize that in their vulnerability they are leaving themselves open to attack. This is another story about belief, attacks by demons who are waiting for their chance to gain entry, another exorcism, and a change in outlook for both Landon and Sara as they prepare to be wed. They are both considering becoming part of the Roman Catholic church which is a great step from their Protestant belief. I love that no matter what, these two never waver in their faith in Jesus, yet are open to different ideas, and are ready to help their friends and fellow students with love at the centre of their beings.
